I warned some of you that my picture would be kid-related today! :) Today was my pick for TRP and I chose "Outdoor fun". It's also Keely's 11th birthday so I knew we would be outside doing something. Trying to kill two birds with one stone again, I guess.

Our neighborhood has a private pool but we go there all of the time. It's kind of small and it gets boring. So, for Keely's birthday activity, she chose to go to one of the local public pools that has a water slide and "animal showers" that shoot water down into the pool.


Not the best day to go, I suppose. The slide and the fountains were shut off, and everyone got kicked out because of the weather. We were still able to swim for a bit and the girls had a blast.

I wasn't able to take many photos though because Kinsley begged me to stay in the pool with her. It was so much more fun than baking in the chair.

Just across the mesa from our housing addition, they are building another housing addition and a Presbyterian Hospital, just a few "blocks" apart. For today's beginners' group challenge, I snuck into the area and took a couple of pictures. The actual building of the structures has not begun yet but there were dozens and dozens of these pipes. There is ALWAYS some kind of construction around ABQ and I wish I could have gotten some better photos, but Kyler has been sick for two days with a fever over 102 degrees. I had my neighbor keep an eye on her while I took five minutes to go take these photos.
